I just pimped my bike to make it less attractive for the thieves. Normally it just takes some weeks of time until a new bike is stolen. This time I bought a really good lock and applied a custom design with which I am able to recognize the bike all over the world.
OK, the thieves still can redesign it but that will take much more effort than just stealing another bike.
